So you're interested in becoming a PLK Team rider?

If you already ride Peter Lynn Kites then congratulations, you've made the first step, a wise decision. If you haven’t then we can arrange a demo ride via one of our dealers so you can decide whether flying a technologically advanced PLK is for you.

You're wondering what sort of riders we are looking for?

You don’t have to be the local hotshot or ego maniac. We want our riders to be active in their local area to be well known and respected and ideally active with their local scene either being involved in the club or always happy to lend a hand to noobs and ensure that local spots are respected (and a capable rider with a few tricks or waveriding skills and be able to go big air! Make sure you put in a few hot shot photos in your app! You might have some mates that are interested? Put a local team app together and we may be able to sponsor all of you.

Feedback from our customers over the years indicates that we are on the right track with producing an easy to use and safe kite that is unrivalled in stability and allows riders hassle free fun (and that will last more than one season). We produced the first maximum depower kite and don’t need bridles and clunky bars to achieve it. We are now in our 7th gen max depower kite

We have decided that a good way to spread the stoke is to expand our team rider program in close association with our dealers (or if your area doesn’t have one you might like to become a qualified PLK dealer).

So what do you get if we accept your application?

You will get your kites at greatly reduced rates.

You will also get apparel such as rashies, hoodies, caps, tshirts

and you will of course stickers, lots of stickers.

and we will send you team rider identity promotion cards

So that if you are talking to people you can give them a card to give to your local school or shop and receive a referral bonus if a sale is made.

You will also be part of a team that catches up at events such as the Damien Mackay memorial event in Phillip Island, Mambo Merimbula, Exterme kites Speed week Sandy Point and so on (Our focus is on participation at events with a laid back festival feel) Plus this year we are going to be supporting the establishment of local course racing clubs, meets and national events
